What is IPTV and how does it work?+
IPTV is television delivered over your broadband instead of through an aerial or a cable box. You install a player app on the telly, stick, box, phone or laptop you already own, sign in with the login we email you, and the channels stream live. There is no engineer, no installation visit and no hardware to rent.
Is IPTV legal in Ireland?+
The technology is ordinary: streaming television over the internet is how a growing share of all TV reaches Irish homes. What separates one operator from another is content licensing, and those obligations sit with the operator. You cannot audit anyone's paperwork from your sofa, but you can read behaviour: published prices in euro, a real refund policy, a working address and somewhere to come back to. We go through it properly on our page about IPTV and the law in Ireland.

Do I need a special box, or will my own telly do?+
Most houses need nothing new. If you have a smart TV, a streaming stick, an Android box, an Apple TV, a games console-era set-top box, a phone, a tablet or a laptop, you almost certainly have something that works. Older televisions that cannot install apps need a stick or a box, which is the cheapest part of the whole setup.
How do I set it up?+
You install a player app, enter the login we email you, and that is the job. It usually takes about five minutes. Our installation guide has step-by-step screenshots for every common device, and if you would rather not, tell us what you have and we will walk you through it.

Do I need a VPN?+
No. It works on ordinary Irish broadband with nothing extra installed, and there is nothing for you to configure. Set up the app, sign in, and watch.
What does IPTV cost in Ireland compared with a TV package?+
Ours is published rather than quoted: €12 for a month, down to €4.13 a month on the two-year plan, in euro, with no installation fee and no hardware rental. When you compare, the numbers worth putting side by side are the monthly price after any introductory rate ends, the length of the contract, and whether there is equipment to rent. We break the arithmetic down on our page about what IPTV costs in Ireland.

Do I have to take the trial first?+
Yes, and it's on purpose. Everyone starts with the free 24-hour trial so you can watch it on your own telly, on your own broadband, before any money changes hands. It's the full service, not a cut-down version, and nobody asks for a card. It's one trial per household, however many lines you go on to take, because it only needs to prove the thing once.
How will I receive my subscription?+
Once payment confirms, your login details arrive by email, usually within a couple of hours. Check spam before you write to us. It hides there more often than you'd think.
Can I use my subscription on multiple devices?+
Yes. Add your line to every device you own, but a line plays on one screen at a time. Want the sitting room and the bedroom going at once? Add a second line at a discount, and stack up to four for a busy house.
Will you renew my subscription automatically?+
Never. Plans don't renew on their own. You get a reminder by email before your plan ends, and paying again is your call. When it ends, it just ends.
What internet speed do I need?+
We recommend at least 20 megabits per second for trouble-free viewing, and most Irish broadband clears that easily. If your connection handles a video call, it handles this.
Can I request a specific channel?+
Yes. The lineup isn't fixed. Ask us to add or remove channels and we'll tailor it to your house. If one channel is the reason you're subscribing, ask us to confirm it before you pay.
What if something stops working months after I've paid?+
Tell us and we will fix it. Most faults are a change at our end and take minutes. If we genuinely cannot get it working for you, you are not stuck with what is left of the plan: we refund the months you have not used, however far in you are. That is the published policy rather than a favour, and it applies on the 2-year plan exactly as it does on the 1-month one.
Can I get my money back?+
The 1-month plan carries a 7-day money-back guarantee; 3, 12 and 24-month plans carry 30 days. Past that on a longer plan, we refund the full months you haven't used. One ask: come to us first and give us a little time before opening a dispute with your card provider or PayPal. Nothing can be refunded while a dispute is open.
